    I dont get it. I set my camera sync speed witch is 1/200 with a flash and the whole picture is lit not just the subject? I am using a Canon Rebel XTI. Please help me. I am so confused!!!!! I don know what I am doing wrong!!

    Hey Megan could say a few words also, don’t you think? After all without Megan you’d be photographing a pole.

    I would look at the aperature setting or your ISO. You can normally leave the aperature and raise the ISO level if you want to set a certain depth of field.

    Well… im no expert but it sounds that you are taking a picture in a well lit place. All these numbers change depending on where you shoot.. make a trial an error and youll get it…

    Use a tripod for stability, use a flash for lighting subject. Simple.

    if my subjet wears red color, and the back ground is withe, what can I do to avoid getting red color all over the picture, please help!1

    Whe using a white background always illuminate the background to maintain the whiteness and separate the subject, place a strobe or your lights off to the side
    ( 1 each ) and aim them at the background, it prevents the color from spreading and keeps your whites white.
