FischerPhotography Said,
When you photograph hummingbirds, do you use manual or autofocus?
benswildlife Said,
I always manual focus right where the bird is going to be. Right in front of the flower which I have cut off and stuck in a little holder. Then put a little sugar water in the flower and wait. No problem. Thanks
FischerPhotography Said,
I was just wondering because I have a 600mm and I find the autofocus quite difficult to use. So, I manual focus eveything with that lens. I was wondering how you manual focused on something moving so fast but when I realized you focused on the flower first well….that made more sence. anyways good video and great photos!!!!

Amazing. How do you kill the ambient light down enough for the flash to take over?
benswildlife Said,
Shoot in the shade if possible and f22 with 100 ISO
shutter speed between 60 and flash sycn.
Awesome How-To and great pictures! Thanks a ton!
